 Action based movies are not the hot sellers any more. RISK is an action flick, which is about a policemen (Randeep Hooda) fighting against the underworld don, Khaled (Vinod Khanna). Although it is a typical Bollywood story which has nothing new to offer to the audiences. In spite of this there are some positives also, Randeep Hooda's performance is one of them. Randeep has shown that he has the talent to make it big in big world of Bollywood. Movie gained a lot of brouhaha because Vinod Khanna is making a comeback to the celluloid. Vinod Khanna has delivered a mature performance in the movie.
Director Vishram Sawant has tried to give a strong hard-hitting treatment but unfortunately the story of the movie is a very common subject in the Bollywood. Tanushree Dutta (actor in a leading role) has looked dull in a short role. The director tried to make a blend of an action film with a tinge of romance but towards the end the movie reduces down tonothing more than a monotonous action film. Music in the movie is also not good. The film has a single song and that too is not in Hindi. So, it would not be wrong to say that the music is another negative point of the movie.

 Vishram Sawant, who also directed the movie ‘D' under the Ram Gopal Varma could not add much in this movie as well. Risk is not only with the same genre but also so much similar to ‘D', which was also based on the underworld story. The movie runs well with a smooth pace but the storyline and the script are too dull to relish. There is just one positive in the entire plot which is the performance of the actors, all of them have delivered good performances. Seema Biswas who is in the role of a corrupt politician is also very good in the movie. To conclude, movie is a one-time entertainer, but strictly for the action loving fans. And Risk for sure does not falls in the category of the' Must See' lot.
