Having got the gift of cute smile, dimples and captivating eyes, model turned actor Jas Arora is not a name in the entertainment industry which needs any introduction now. He first hit the silver screen with a forgettable film Main Solah Baras Ki, but later on bettered his record by making his presence felt in movies like, Dushman, Monsoon Wedding, Chalte Chalte and Pyar Ke Side Effects. During his latest visit to New Delhi for function on street children, Headlines India spoke to him on his life and career. Excerpts:
What is Jas doing these days?
Jas Arora: Right now I am quite busy with a Singapore Show (TV Serial) titled 'Achaar' means the 'Khatte Mithe Pal'.

What is the story all about? |
| Jas Arora: The story is about an Indian guy marrying a Chinese girl and their life thereafter. |
For how long you have this contract with you? |
| Jas Arora: I am staying there for past two years and have been shuttling between India and Singapore because my family and friends live here. My contract with the Show is for three years and I am into the last year of the contract. |
Do you practise meditation? |
| Jas Arora: Meditation always helps in the growth of mind. |
You have come for helping street children. Any particular reason? |
| Jas Arora: Not any. They are such cute children that I would do whatever is possible to help them. |
What kind of reception you get in Singapore? |
| Jas Arora: I feel privileged when I reach Singaporre, because it is the first time that any Indian actor has signed a contract for a Singaporean show. |
Have you been noticed and accepted as a television personality in that country? |
| Jas Arora: Yeah! I have received an award of 'Singapore Face of Television' and I am performing in Singapore Charity Ball and I think, it's a great achievement for me. |
Which kind of food you like the most? |
| Jas Arora: Italian,Chinese and seriously I love food, I am always hungry. |
What is your favorite pass-time? |
| Jas Arora: I like watching movies the most. |
When you are planning to come back to bollywood? |
| Jas Arora: When I get good stories I will return. In fact, I have not left bollywood. |
How would you define Singapore in one sentence? |
| Jas Arora: They are very particular, means want all the things on time, which I like the most about the city nation. |
Have you signed any bollywood movie? |
| Jas Arora: Yes, I had signed a movie named 'Yahan Ke Hum Sikandar'. |
