Garlic-Flavoured Yoghurt
Burrhani raita
Yoghurt (dahi) 500 gm / 1.1 lb
Garlic (lasan) paste 1 tbsp
Cumin (jeera) powder, roasted 1 ½ tsp
Red chilli powder ½ tsp
Black pepper (kaali mirch) powder ½ tsp
Salt to taste
Black rock salt (kaala namak) ½ tsp
Method :
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl using a whisk or an eggbeater.
Serve as an accompaniment to any Indian meal, particularly biryani and pulao.
