New Delhi: HP India, the leading PC brand further strenghthens its lifestyle computing business with the announcement of India's first of its kind, 20 inches screen entertainment notebook -The Dragon, HP Touchsmart, and the revolutionary HP iPAQ 512 voice messenger in the Indian market. The President, personal systems group-HP India,Ravi Swaminathan said that these new range of notebooks are introduced in the market with a focus on the design element - alongwith, HP's traditional technology edge - and making computing easy with the ultimate digital entertainment. |

| According to IDC' Asia / Pacific quaterly PC tracker for 1Q 07, HP has been the market leader in the Indian PC space, with an overall share of 21.2 per cent and a whooping 39.6 per cent share in the portable space, and is prominent amongst consumers in India because of its HP pavilion brand. Neha Dhupia, the Bollywood star, while hosting the launch of the new range of products of HP said, “ It is very important for a technology to be user friendly apart from being competent enough to solve the technical problems of a particular product. HP Touch Smart stands in the same league apart from being user friendly with a lot of features to entertain” On a personal and a humourous note, the cine-star said that for her, the best technology which she thinks is most user friendly, is a TV remote control.
