New Delhi: Much ado about nothing that is what the event launched by the Gitanjli Gems turned out to be. There were a lot of expectations from this launch of a new Wimbledon Collection by the name of Sporteratti. The media before reaching the spot was particularly inquisitive to know what kind of jewellery would it be. Jewellery related to Wimbledon turned out to be largely a crowd puller for Neha, who launched the collection... sorry not the collection but a Single tennis ball studded with diamonds is what we got to see. Not just this but a chaos was created with the media personnel piling on her and the bouncers trying to keep them away. |

| The event, took place at The Park Hotel in the capital on Thursday night. This was launched specially to support Sania Mirza who is performing well at Wimbledon, but the venue turned out to be too small to accommodate the impatient journalists, kneeling over one another to get one picture of the former Miss India. There was neither proper seating arrangement nor place to stand. But Neha, however, did manage to keep her plastic smile on. And there came her formal statement, "It is a pleasure visiting Delhi, and I find the response more overwhelming every time I visit Delhi." |

| The special invitees of the show were Geeta Basra (Actress) and Sonia Mehra (Newcomer). Here too was an issue on hand. None of the two actresses turned up at the show and as for Neha was concerned, promoting a product was neither interesting nor emotional. It was just a job and for most of such occasions the statements too remain all the more same. So in this promotional event this is what she had to say, "Lawn tennis has been one of my favourite sports since my childhood.
