Manish Malhotra started off with designing clothes for Juhi Chawla in the film 'Swarg'. 'Rangeela' came next where he designed outfits for Urmila Matondkar and there was no looking back for him after that. Before coming to the film industry he worked for a boutique and it was David Dhawan who introduced him to the Mumbai film industry. Some of the major films for which he has been the costume designer are 'Rangeela', Raja Hindustani, Dil To Pagal Hai, Kaho Na Pyar Hai, Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Mohabbatein, Dhadkan, Main Hoon Na, Fanaa, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna and many more. He knows how to give character to an outfit and this quality of his has made him the most sought after designers of the country.
