Personal Life:
Shantanu Mukherjee who is popularly known as 'Shaan' born on 30th September 1972, he is an famous Indian Singer. Shaan is the son of a popular Lyricist and Music Director Late Manas Mukherjee and his mom is a music- lover. He has one sibling popularly known as Sagarika, he ties his knot with Radhika and he have two cute son's Subh and Soham.
Career:
Shaan had started his career from the ad jingles,since his childhood. Sagarika and shaan launch an music album named 'nawjawan' which had get a exeptionally awesome response from the public after that he appears on the screen with few albums, Tanha Dil not with his sister but from that period he used to sing alone, step by step he climbing the success of ladder. He had launches many music albums till now every album gives a super-duper response from the audience. After Tanha dil, Aksar a music album launched it also gives a huge hit. Tanha Dil, he received an award of MTV Asia Music Award for best solo album, In 2000 Shaan is a multi-starrer personality he is also a lyricist and a music composer most of his song. He has planning with his sister to launch an album by recreating his father's composition. He basically used to sing in various bollywood movies Pyar Mein Kabhi Kabhi, Lakshya, Dil Chahta Hai, Fanaa, KANK, Om Shanti Om and many more movies. In Earlier days Shaan was an Anchor of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa on Zee Tv but he had quit that program and joins Star Voice Of India (1and 2) on Star Plus.
He has given many LIVE performances in the colleges and in festivals. The Voice of today has won 13 awards since 2000. Last award he achieved as the Best Male Playback Award in 'IIFA', ' Zee Cne Awards', 'Filmfare' for ' Jabse Tere Naina' in 'Saawariya', 2008.
