New Delhi: As the
Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week is approaching, designers are getting themselves ready to showcase their collection. The illustrious designers duo Ashima and Leena showcased their collection on Saturday as a preparation to the upcoming Wills Fashion Week this season. The theme of their collection is 'Resonance', which symbolises an incredible balance and contrast between tradition and modernity in an inspiring palette of colours like deep reds, blacks, auburns, burnished metallics, precious blues, mysterious greys, crystalline pastels. These colours transform the season 'Summer- Spring', claims the designer duo. Sharing her inspiration for the collection with HeadlinesIndia Ashima said on the occasion, "I am inspired by the colours, by myself. I have made what I liked and thought of. I did not keep a particular person in mind. I have made this collection for women all across the globe."
Whereas her business partner Leena spoke about the business market this season, saying, "The prime market this time is middle east and we are hoping to get more business from there. It is our tenth edition with Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) to showcase our collection. FDCI on its own terms has fetched us a lot of business and this is why we have been showcasing our collection with them without any break. We hope that we get more and more business from the fashion promoting weeks by FDCI. As business keeps more importance than promotion of designs do." The price range of these outfits would vary from Rs 12,500 to 50,000.
